This is the one for the little people! This hike is a family friendly route. Once you are near the waterfall, it can be a little rocky and there are rock steps to navigate up and down by the waterfall. This is a trendy area for birding, hiking, and learning about indigenous culture. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. It’s a great place for a family picnic and a learning experience as we explore the petroglyphs and discover the sacred lands ourselves.
The trail starts at Lost Creek where we will see the ancient springs, petroglyphs, and at the end a seasonal waterfall! There is plenty of shade and scenery provided by the massive rock formations, caves, and seasonal cactus blooms.
